Sarah Rogers is a resident of Johnson County, Indiana, but was raised in Lake County, Indiana. She graduated from Hobart High School in 1991 and attended Indiana University in Bloomington where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Art History in 1995. Sarah also attended Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York, where she completed her Master’s Degree in Museum Studies in 1998. In the summer of 1998, Sarah was hired as Associate Curator of Cultural World Collections at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis and was later promoted to Curator. After nearly six years at the Children’s Museum, Sarah took the position of Director at the Johnson County Museum of History where she has worked since April 2004. Sarah has collaborated on numerous exhibits in the field of fine art, history, world cultures and children’s education. She has also been a presenter at the American Association of Museums and Association of Children’s Museums conferences.
